PCS students selected for internship at Planning Commission

ISLAMABAD: Two students from Department of Peace and Conflict Studies, National Defence University were selected for the first ever virtual summer internship at Planning Commission, Ministry of Planning, Development and Reform.

As per detail, M Phil scholars Sajid Khan Mehsud and Talal Mustahsan Raza were selected among 100 interns from across Pakistan and abroad.  According to Planning Commission, more than 15000 applications were received for this virtual summer internship.

The duration of the internship was 6 weeks between July 01, 2015 and August 14, 2015.

As part of the internship, Mr. Sajid and Mr.Talal produced research papers on “Peace Building in FATA” and “Perception Management and Militancy in Pakistan” respectively.
